Eduardo is a Portuguese Sound Designer, Filmmaker and a Post Graduate Researcher at the Department of Film and Television, University of Bristol, funded through the Faculty of Arts GTA PGR Scholarship.
Eduardo holds a master's degree with distinction in Innovation in Sound from the University of St Mark & St John.
His doctoral research focuses on experimental sound design approaches to the oral account in non-fiction filmmaking.
Eduardo is interested in bridging the gap between sound art, experimental non-fiction filmmaking and questions associated with vulnerability and the community.
Memory, identity and displacement are common concepts associated to his creative work explored through field recordings, voice performance and filmmaking.
